Broker Wins $2 Million Against Merrill in Sex Discrimination Case
Male brokers at Merrill Lynch prevented a 72 year old female broker from bringing her daughters into the business, to keep 1,000 clients, $600 million in assets and $5 million in commissions in the family.
Merrill allegedly trumped up several regulatory violations as well.
The NASD panel awarded $2 million last week.
