Independent B-Ds Increase Up-Front Transition Money Paid to Reps
Independent firms - like LPL Financial Services, Commonwealth Financial Network and Cambridge Investment Research - have increased their up-front bonus paid to reps joining their firms.
Instead of 2% - 3% of their prior 12-months' production, reps now can expect to receive 8% - 10%.
One firm, National Planning Corp. of Santa Monica, California, is offering reps a package of 42.5% of their prior 12-months' production in the form of a forgivable loan and transition money.
