Paine Webber Sues Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Raiding Case
Paine Webber has sued MSDW alleging that it broadly and carefully attempted to raid brokerage personnel at J.C. Bradford, which Paine Webber recently bought. The suit alleges that MSDW made false or misleading statements relating to the terms of its retention package for the Bradford brokers.
The suit, filed in a Tennessee state court, seeks to restrain MSDW from hiring any Bradford employees.
