SEC Sues 10 in Stock Scheme Relating to Systems of Excellence, Inc.
The SEC suit involves a complex stock manipulation scheme in which the head of Systems of Excellence, Inc. issued false and misleading statements about the company, and then sold his own shares in the inflated market. Among the ten sued is a publisher of an Internet stock newsletter that promoted the stock, pumping up the price of the stock.
