Chapman Capital Management Founder Indicted
Nathan Chapman Jr., head of the firm, has been indicted for mail and wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy. Federal prosecutors charge that he used $5 million that he managed for the Maryland State Retirement System to invest in his own company, eChapman.com.
The Maryland State Retirement System lost $4.7 of the $5 million that it had invested.
