James Eccleston has been included on this list consecutively since 2005. He leads SNSFE's nationally active Securities group representing investors in recovering investment losses, and financial services professionals in disciplinary, employment, and compliance matters. A recipient of Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating (AV) for legal ability and ethics, his successes include recovering $2.8 million for a customer whose account was excessively traded, and substantial awards for stockbrokers for damages resulting from wrongful termination and defamation. Mr. Eccleston has held numerous securities licenses and Chicago Bar Association leadership positions, serves as an arbitrator and mediator, and is a broadly published author and speaker whose professional opinions are frequently quoted in print and online publications.
